AHS 50th anniversary dinner / Saturday, July 22, 2006
there is an event i have been looking forward to these few days.. yup today i went to attend AHS 50th anniversary dinner at singapore expo. haha very bo liao hor.. not my school i still go, coz these few days me at home really turn mouldy le. my dad was from AHS de and my family also provide AHS transport services so we go there support abit. Actually wasn't expecting much except some entertainment can make me laugh laugh but i am a bit disappointed bah. the whole nite is programmed with speeches by principles, guests-of-honor blah blah.. all toking abt their experiences in AHS. i feel disconnected from all that, some sort like an intruder gate-crashing their party. even make me miss my sec sch.. hai think of all the wonderful memories there.. haha remember me n my frenz in school all no image one coz it'z gal'z school mah. oh ya back 2 the dinner, sometimes i really have 2 agree wif the tag 'ugly singaporeans', people are like going around tables and mingling wif one another when somebody is giving a speech. how'z that for courtesy? ok lah, can understand they nv see each other for very long le but there muz b an appropriate time 2 catch up rite? some of them are talking so loudly i cant even hear the speaker properly. alot of them are way older than me and should have known better lor. yea have 2 admit i also went for the food.. haha ok lah not bad but not great either.. nway, i learnt that there'z a great employee called Mr Hassan who worked in AHS for 48yrs and he is really highly respected there. Heard frm my aunt he did basically all the jobs in the school like photocopying, repairing lights and cleaning.. he is so loyal that his children'z initials are AHS. haha cute.. can see from the way my aunt talked abt him like some superman like tat. really, have 2 hand it to tiz man.. being so faithful and loyal 2 ur job for so long is not easy. and now he'z in his seventies le and still working there. ok lah..other than that, i didn find anything else interesting.. my cousin even fell asleep there..haha best! hopefully next time got more interesting things 2 say. prob wun hear frm me until my exam over on 27jul.
