after my exam, somehow lazier 2 write blog.. haha.. ok lah sat i juz went 2 the auction dinner for hungry ghost festival, coz my dad is in the organising commitee. go there support mah, then also this is a chinese tradition. haha also got food i go le.. me n my mum sat with a table of strangers, all aunties i dunno one. then they talk abt their stuff ah.. pretty bored there. haha except see ppl out-bid each other. my dad also got bid lah.. $608 for those decorative thing for worshipping that is supposed 2 bring luck. after the whole thing, my dad brought home 2 big boxes of red wine! think got abt 20+ bottles! haha can enjoy le~
then sun i met huili n irene go chinatown shop for beads n chains for our DIY stuff. hehe we going to make bag charms for our frenz. wee~ v excited leh! maybe the beginning of my handmade accessory career. haha me n irene were like dreaming up ideas like setting up a business on this and we hvn made our 1st accesory yet! on the way we passed by a roadside stall selling handmade earrings, v pretty! the boss twist the wire with crystals until v nice and it'z like 3D. the colours also v nice~ actually v tempted 2 ask the boss teach me but he prob wun, why wun he teach me rite?
after that me and irene went to singapore casket centre to attend winnie'z mum funeral wake. actually it came as a shock. i just learnt abt it when winnie sent us all a sms telling us abt the wake the night before. although i dunno her mum well, still feel saddened by the news. inevitably i tot of my mum n dad, though i alwayz remind myself to cherish ppl around me. but my family still v traditional kind, so it'z hard 2 express love verbally.think asian families v concerned abt formalities all tat, sometimes make communication hard. of cos got some are exceptions.
btw, i juz buy a necklace from yahoo auction for $3.50. hehe long time nv buy online le. today the necklace juz arrived! hehe i like the feeling of anticipating the goods. here'z the pic of the necklace
