marina bay, fireworks, national day n nj'z birthday! / Tuesday, August 08, 2006
heya.. thx to nj, able to upload this video up! enjoy!
whoo~ what a day! meet up with beth, irene, joon, yunyi and ningjing to celebrate nj'z bday! haha went to marina bay to eat bbq n steamboat + see fireworks. haha great plan rite? me and irene were the first to reach marina bay.. wah so many ppl going there.. the bus so crowded so we took the shuttle bus of a restuarant.. hmm at 1st thought we going 2 sit in a van or something. coz too many ppl me n irene had to sit at the back of lorry! those kind of open air one! nobody else wanna take that. kinda regret after boarding it. haha quite exciting lah! we reached le then str away waste no time in preparing the food le. haha actually took alot of food then also ate alot.. but i nv seem to feel full leh~ ehhh..
we gave nj the presents we bought n make for her. we modified the earrings then gave it 2 her~ see nice not? also gave a necklace we bought.
yup then at abt 9pm we were all anticipating the fireworks to start. nj n yy went to some place nearer to the fireworks 2 get a better view but we just stayed at our table. the fireworks started q punctually and there were cheers from ppl around us when the fireworks started. they were so BEAUTIFUL! some were like star dust sprinkling down on us.. feels near to us! the best part is the last segment when they consecutively release a whole string of golden fireworks together! the sky so magical with golden dust, irene said seeing the fireworks made her feel full of hope. in a way, i felt similar too! it is such a blessed feeling if u can get to watch it with loved ones. it will be even more touching moment bah.
after the dinner n fireworks we made our way back to the mrt station... by foot! i knew it'z a mistake from the start but my friends were like can exercise and all that.. yea i juz go along bah.. haha they nv realise it'z such a long way~ haha by the time we reach mrt we all all sweaty and tired. and me hungry again~ oops! haha nvm lah.. quite enjoyed the outing! thx gals for the magical night! and Happy 21st Birthday NingJing!!!
